Third set of books delivered!

The third set of books have been delivered to the Ronald McDonald House of NYC.  Our sweet and generous friends, Amy and her husband Bobby, offered to deliver the books for us.  Amy said, "The House is so appreciative (they don't allow photos inside) of the books. They have a small library for the younger patients and the books will be a fantastic addition to the collection.   We added 120 bottles of bubbles for the patients and their siblings!"

Announcing our third facility!  The Ronald McDonald House of New York in New York City.

The Ronald McDonald House of New York provides a temporary “home-away-from-home” for pediatric cancer patients and their families. With 84 rooms, almost always at capacity, the House has been in operation for over 30 years and served more than 25,000 families.

Often entering the House in emotional and medical confusion; patients and their families find a “home-away-from-home” that provides much more than just a temporary dwelling. With each family that arrives, there is a uniting Hope and a common search for health and healing. The RMHNY supports each family and coordinates emotional and physical services, psychological care, ministry support, wellness programs, tutors, music, art, transportation, activities for siblings, holiday and birthday parties and camaraderie for parents struggling with their child’s cancer diagnosis.

We hope our Bubbles for Isabelle collection of children's books will help bring a bit of "home" to them while they are experiencing such a difficult and confusing time in a new environment.

Second set of books delivered!

The second set of books from the Bubbles for Isabelle book drive has been delivered!  My dear friend and former college roomie, Stephanie, delivered the books said, "They were so thrilled to get the books and bubbles! The kids were eating pancakes when I arrived and the teachers were eagerly digging through the box claiming which ones they wanted for their rooms!"
