Triality Inc.

Announcing the 2nd facility that will be receiving a Bubbles for Isabelle children's book collection: Triality Inc. in Missouri!

Triality Empowers Adults and Children with Disabilities to Lead Fulfilled Lives. The word "Triality" means a union of three. At Triality the union is between the individual, family, and community. Triality believes that everyone should be afforded the opportunity to pursue their individual goals, interests, and to be a member of their community. Triality provides support from birth to retirement.

The most critical years of your child’s development occurs during the first five years of life. Triality Tots is here to help lay the foundation for lifelong learning success. We incorporate early childhood curriculum and innovative technology into your child’s learning environment under the direction of highly qualified and licensed teachers.
In addition to providing high quality learning opportunities, we specialize in the care of children with special health needs or developmental delays. Triality Tots offers a variety of services such as physical, speech, and occupational therapy in addition to providing customized care for children with autism spectrum disorder. We understand that every child needs individualized care and we customize a plan for each child based on the family and child’s goals.

Bubbles for Isabelle at William Jewell College Homecoming

My gorgeous friends from college hosted a Bubbles for Isabelle fund raising tailgate at our alma mater, William Jewell College, last weekend at homecoming.  It was an amazing success with over $640 raised plus books.  Thank you DZs and to everyone who contributed!

William Jewell College Homecoming - BFI Fundraiser

From Kelley's sorority sisters:

Everyone is invited to stop by the first tailgate at William Jewell College! Bubbles for Isabelle tailgate is in memory of the tragic passing of a DZ alumna’s young child.

In May 2011, William Jewell College and Delta Zeta alumna Kelley (Pelzer) van der Meer ’99 and her husband Richard suddenly lost their precious 2-year-old daughter, Isabelle, due to complications from a seizure resulting from a virus that reached her brain. In her memory, the van der Meers started Bubbles for Isabelle, an initiative focused on donating needed items to low-income childcare centers. During Homecoming we will collect new copies of Isabelle's 25 favorite books.

In support, Jewell Delta Zeta alumnae will offer the opportunity for anyone to donate to the Bubbles for Isabelle initiative at a Delta Zeta tailgate. We will accept books from the collection (see below for details) or monetary donations to purchase books. All contributions will benefit under-resourced childcare centers around Liberty and Kansas City.

The benefit tailgate will be held Saturday, October 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot between the Terry Barnes Memorial Fountain and Greene Stadium. It will be a wonderful way for you to re-connect with friends while also making a difference in the lives of others through Bubbles for Isabelle.

...Kelley van der Meer said, “As a parent, you help your children. I will always be her parent, and I am just doing what she is not here to do.”
