Beautiful Isabelle - we love you and miss you so much!
From now through July 24, 2012 - We will be collecting and distributing a collection of 25 of Isabelle's favorite books to go to under resourced childcare facilities.
Description ::
There are many hardworking parents, many of whom are single parents working multiple jobs to make ends meet, that rely heavily on childcare programs designed for low-income families. Unfortunately these childcare facilities often lack the amenities that other revenue generating childcare programs have and don’t have the resources to replenish their stock of books and toys when needed.
Bubbles for Isabelle would like to help by donating a collection of 25 of Isabelle’s favorite children’s books to as many childcare programs as possible. In this small way, we hope to improve their nursery libraries and create a more enriching environment for their children. If you wish to help us with our cause, you may visit our online registry (see below) to read about and purchase books for the 2012 Bubbles for Isabelle book drive. You may also donate money through our online registry, which would also be used for the purchase of the books as well as the shipping and delivering of these books.

Mission ::
Our goal is to impact as many childcare programs as possible, by providing them with a new children’s book collection made up of 25 of Isabelle’s favorite books. We will be collecting and donating books through Isabelle’s birthday on July 24th, 2012. Starting now and throughout the year, we will be seeking out the deserving childcare facilities, working with volunteers, organizing, sorting & delivering these books. Join us in helping make a difference in the lives of children less fortunate than ours, one book at a time.
I read your story through a link on a Jewell Homecoming invitation from Delta Zeta. I visited Bubbles for Isabelle and found a beautiful girl full of zest and too many amazing qualities to detail. You did an excellant job of painting her picture with words. I find joy in my own three children and know how one minute with them can change a life. Please know that your portrait of Isabelle and work to help others in her name will continue to do just that...changes lives. She will continue to bring smiles to others for years to come.

ReplyDeleteOur 2 year old Avery also died from a febrile seizure.
There should be more awareness given to parents by their pediatrician's as to what a febrile seizure is and they should not be taken lightly.
